As a multi award winning photographer, Mike strives to stand out in a very saturated market, creating images by shaping and sculpting with whatever light the situation has to offer or demands. Daylight, speedlites, strobe units or LED, his technical ability and outside the box vision enable him to create and capture images, that have made him one of the most sought-after corporate, public relations & media photographers in the UK.
As a trained and experienced photojournalist, who provides photographic services for corporate clients and communication agencies, Mike believes it is vital to keep his work relevant and current, in a fast-changing technical industry.
The broad foundation stone his career has progressed from, having initially trained with one of Warwickshire's most respected photographers, former John Wright Photography, covering weddings, portraits & commercial shoots, have provided him with the basis of the many techniques he uses today. Combined with his time spent within the newspaper industry, he utilises the full knowledge and experience gained by providing a blend of technical precision with creative artistry.
For the past two decades his images have been used to illustrate news, eventsand features for newspapers, magazines and websites across the country. His former position as Chief Photographer forseveral News Media newspapers honed his photographicskills and specialised industry knowledge, while allowing him to adapt to the changing media landscape.
As well as providing striking photographs for news and PR, he is a fully trained cinematographer, able to shoot and edit professional video packages. This combination of photographic and video skills allows him to provide the complete solution for clients - outstanding images and video for print and digital media.
