Join us for two exclusive dates in 2025 as we explore the captivating Tudor style. Experience the elegance of King Henry VIII, Queen Elizabeth, and Anne Boleyn, all in historically accurate outfits, complete with subtle makeup and wigs. This is a unique opportunity for photographers who appreciate fine art and the beauty of the old masters. 

Prepare to be amazed as we present three stunning sets, expertly lit by the renowned Salli Gainsford, a leader in fine art lighting in the UK. Each set features soft, subtle illumination against black backgrounds, allowing the true colors and richness of the outfits to shine through. This meticulous attention to detail creates a breathtaking atmosphere for capturing timeless moments.

We were pioneers in introducing these stunning tudor looks online this year, inspiring many workshop leaders to follow suit. However, Salli's discerning eye ensures that only the finest outfits make the cut and can guarantee that all three looks have been meticulously curated and tested before our events, ensuring their immaculate quality of models and costumes for our studio days.

Our Old Masters Days will run in three groups 

9.15 - 11.25a.m

12.15 - 14.25p.m

15.15 - 17.25p.m

On each slot, you will work in a team of three to photograph each of the three featured models for 40 minutes on each of the three sets.

We will be staging three lighting sets to replicate the old masters lighting with backdrops. 

What takes place on your visit with us?

The event features three professional re-enactor models,  there are nine places for photographers on each of three sessions. One in the morning, one at lunchtime and one in the afternoon. Attendees will work in groups of three with each model in turn.
